Tranformers CRAZY XP Weekend!

Transformers War for Cybertron has to be the sleeper game of the year thus far for me. The game is a completely separate from either of the two movies that were released, which allowed the developers to create their own story and art style. Visually, this is one of the nicest looking games I've ever seen. You'll really feel like you're a part of the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons in a struggle to take over Cybertron. It's available for PS3 and Xbox 360. If you want to check out the game before purchasing it, there's a demo available. The demo features one level of online play and there are always people available to play with.

If you already have the game then you definitely need to be playing this weekend. You've probably heard of games such as the Halo and Modern Warfare 2 series having double XP weekends where you earn twice as many experience points. This weekend Transformers War for Cybertron is offering a ten XP weekend...YES, 10! I've never heard of such a thing but I'm glad it's being offered. This is a great opportunity to increase your levels for each of the 4 classes available. To give you an idea of just how much this affects the rate at which experience points are earned:

• If you're starting at 0 XP, you'll probably increase to level 3 by end of one match
• Once you're at the teens level, you'll probably increase a level each match or two
